Emily Lallouz went for her normal dentist check-up at the medical center. She was surprised to notice that the dentist was pulling tiny blue beads coming from her gums. The plastic remains inserted in her mouth for several years.
She was frightened to understand how those plastic beads got trapped in her mouth. The deposition of beads was triggered due to her lack of knowledge in selecting the right dental solution. Slide down to learn her story.
This horrible effect was caused due to regular usage of a toothpaste.
This lady had been using Crest toothpaste for the last five years.
Many cases of tiny blue beads in gums were reported in 2014 itself.
Trish Walraven is a famous hygienist from Dental Buzz.
She approached Crest for a statement.
It was found out that Crest uses plastic to impart color to the paste.
But these microplastics are damn injurious to gums.
These plastic balls can get fixed in your body too.
You must stop using Crest toothpaste right now.
Please check the ingredients of toothpaste before buying it.
Emily Lallouz explained: “I had a root canal done last week and while she was irrigating, she asked me if I used any of the Crest Pro-Health toothpastes. After I said yes, she showed me all those blue things that were under my gums and in between my teeth.
They are actually PLASTIC! She then did a real cleaning and kept blasting out those blue plastic beads from under my gums. If you thought they burst or were ‘beads of magical fluoride and whitening fun,’ they are NOT! If you or your kids are using this STOP NOW! It’s even illegal in a couple states!”
