A lot of folks go through sleep apnea, sleeping disorders and sleep disruptions. The sleeping apnea is a sleeping dysfunction and it happens when your inhaling and exhaling is disrupted when you sleep at night. All those with neglected sleep apnea, may stop breathing regularly when they get to sleep.
That indicates that the body system and the human brain might not get adequate amount of oxygen. Generally there are two sleep apnea types:
~ OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea) is caused by blockage of the airway when the back of the throat’s soft tissue collapses during sleep.
~ The second type is the central sleep apnea where the airway isn’t blocked but the brain doesn’t signal the muscles to breathe because of instability in the respiratory control center.
The sleep apnea can affect any person, no matter age. The risk factors are gastroesophageal reflux, having a family history of sleep apnea, having a large neck size, being over the age of 40, being overweight, being male and nasal obstructions due to sinus problems, allergies or deviated septum.
