It’s normal for the female bodies to going through some changes from time to time. But very important thing is to stay aware about your body changes so you can figure out when something is different, because sometimes these changes may alert for some health issues.
So Ladies, what should you watch for?
1. Breast Changes
In many cases, Breast Lumps don’t signal Cancer, though the smartest best is to always consult your doctor. Let them know about these symptoms too:
- Skin dimpling or puckering
- Nipples that turn inward
- Nipple discharge
- Redness or scaling of your nipple or breast skin
2. Bloating
If your bloating symptoms don’t get better after waiting for a week or two, see a doctor right away. Persistent bloating can sometimes mean Ovarian Cancer. The doctor is likely going to conduct a pelvic exam along with blood tests and ultrasound to try and look for the root cause of the problem.
3. Between-Period Bleeding
If you’re getting periods out of the regular routine, talk to your doctor. Bleeding that isn’t part of your usually monthly cycle can have various causes, but your doctor is likely to rule out endometrial cancer.
Bleeding following menopause should never be taken lightly. In such a case, get it checked right away.
4. Skin Changes
Changes in the size, shape or color of a mole can signal Skin Cancer. Consult your doctor for a detailed examination and biopsy.
5. Blood in Pee / Stool
If you’re excreting blood from a part of your body that isn’t mean to do that, consult a doctor, especially if the bleeding carries on for more than a day or two.
In most cases, Bloody stool is a result of hemorrhoids, but it can also be a symptom of colon cancer. Bloody urine is usually the first sign of cancer of the bladder or kidneys.
6. Changes in Lymph Nodes
Lymph nodes are tiny, bean-like glands around the body. Most changes in them arise from common infections. But certain cancers, including leukemia and lymphoma, can also lead to swelling of lymph nodes.
It is highly recommended that you consult your doctor if you have a lump or swelling anywhere in your body that lasts more than month.

7. Swallowing Issues
Occasional trouble swallowing is nothing much to worry about. But when it happens frequently, especially along with vomiting or weight loss, your doctor may want to check for possible throat or stomach cancer.
8. Excessive Weight Loss
While its a dream of a lot of women out there to magically melt all the extra pounds away. But losing weight at the speed of light without any change in your diet or exercise routine would signal a medical problem.
In most cases, such weight loss does not point towards cancer. It is often a result of stress, but rarely can be a sign of pancreatic cancer. Stomach and lung cancers are also a possibility.
9. Heartburn
Excessive amounts of food, alcohol, or stress can cause lead to intense heartburn. You should change your diet for a week or two to see if your symptoms get any better.
If that doesn’t help, consult your doctor. If the heartburn doesn’t go away or subside, it could mean cancer of the stomach, throat, or ovaries.
10. Mouth Changes
If you’re a smoker, watch out for white or red patches inside of your mouth or on the lips. Both can be symptoms of oral cancer. Consult your doctor about possible tests and treatment procedures.
